Check out this Firefly (aka SAM) materials and pre-farming guide to max her out as soon as she becomes available on Honkai Star Rail Version 2.3.
You can read about Firefly / SAM’s leaked kit here. Note that her details have not been revealed yet, and these are all information that came via an unofficial source. These data may change upon Jade’s release.
Firefly / SAM is a 5-star Fire character on the Path of Destruction. She’s expected to be playable on Honkai Star Rail Version 2.3. This update is expected to go live on June 19, 2024.
Luckily, Firefly and her signature Light Cone are all pre-farmable as of Honkai Star Rail version 2.2.
First, here are all of the materials she needs to get to level 80.
Firefly / SAM Ascension Materials
The Stagnant Shadow node in Dewlight Pavilion should be accessible as long as you have unlocked Penacony. If not, you can use the Interastral Peace Guide (the same menu you use to claim your dailies) to access it beforehand.
The other thing you need to farm is the drops from the Memory Zone Memes, which you can get from the enemies mostly on the Dreamscape or by doing any resource node with Penacony enemies in it.
Maxing all of Firefly’s Skills (Basic ATK to 6, Skill, Ultimate, and Talent to 10) and all Traces will require the following materials.
The Calyx at Scalegorge Waterscape will be the bulk of your farming for Firefly. You can use or borrow the following characters to make auto-farming this node as easy as possible:
Tracks of Destiny are incredibly rare and can be acquired from limited-time events or as rewards from the regularly resetting end-game content like Simulated Universe.
Firefly requires the Lost Echo of the Shared Wish drop from the Echo of War located on Penacony Grand Theater. This is pre-farmable, but you would need to be kept up with the Trailblaze Mission in Penacony as of the latest update in the story in Version 2.2. If not, access it via the Interastral Peace Guide.
The Firefly signature Light Cone is called “Wherabouts Should Dreams Rest.”
To upgrade it to the max level, you will need the following materials:
These are also the same materials you would need for Firefly herself, so you can hit two birds with one stone. If you’re sufficiently farmed for these, you can start farming her Planar Ornaments and Relic Sets.
Firefly / SAM goes live in Honkai Star Rail version 2.3.
